HELLO HONG KONG

Farewell to UWA and hello to vacation work in Hong Kong! As much as I would've loved to spend my Nov-Dec days discovering Hong Kong's impressive and never-ending collection of everything, my conscience had got the better of me and so here I am working for a local law firm, situated in the hectic suburb of Central. Work is work so I have no intention of delving into the particulars of my current work life but I would like to point out a current shopping discovery that I made while I was wandering aimlessly on my lunch break. I've recently discovered on the streets of Lang Kwai Fong a beautiful collection of petite boutiques including Christian Louboutin. Prices are expected to be on the high side but hey, no pain no gain! Besides, money exists for use, not for mere admiration and dust collecting. As long as you love the item and, more importantly, can afford it, a splurge now and then is as my mum often puts it, "spending money wisely". I haven't had the chance to pick out anything yet, but I am certainly anticipating the weekend in LKF with my best friend to do so.
